About me

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Becky Yutzy, a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP). I received a Bachelor Degree in Psychology / Counseling from Messiah College and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I am Level 3 trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and I love working with individuals and couples.
Over the last 18 years, I have had experience working in a variety of settings including in-home services for children and teens, foster care and social work settings, as well as outpatient settings working with children, teens, adults and couples. I have experience using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness based approaches, trauma informed treatment approaches and Gottman Method Couples therapy.
I am skilled at carrying hope and peace into turmoil. I love helping others find their way by shining light and broadening perspectives so they see their own strength and courage. I enjoy helping couples connect in new and beautiful ways and learn to trust each other and themselves in the aftermath of relational trauma. I am effective in working through hurtful relationship dynamics and helping to modify behavior and communication that gets in the way of people achieving their goals and in forming healthy and fulfilling relationships. When people see themselves as whole and wholly connected to themselves and others, healing is underway.
Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games, hiking, biking and adventuring outdoors or relaxing while reading a good book.
